Steamed BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

1 chicken 3 ½ to 4 ½ lbs

BBQ Rub

4 tbsp. garlic chopped

1 tbsp. soy sauce

Salt and pepper to season

½ c. sugar

½ c. kosher salt

3 tbsp. chili powder

3 tbsp. paprika

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. granulated garlic

½ tsp. black pepper

¼ tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions

1Preheat steamer unit to boil.

2Season the whole chicken liberally.

3Place chicken on steamer plate, use extension ring as needed and cover for approximately 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 165 F.
