Chili

The ultimate classic, easy chili recipe.

  • Yields: 6-8 Servings

Ingredients

1.5 lbs ground beef 80/20

1 med onion diced

4 oz bell peppers6 tbsp dark chili powder

8 tbsp cumin

1 tbsp granulated garlic

16 oz jar of salsa

29 oz can tomato sauce

14.5 oz can diced tomato

14.5 oz water

15.5 oz can red kidney bean (drained and rinsed)

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1Brown meat in skillet.

2Drain fat.

3Add onions, peppers, garlic and sauté for 3 min.

4Add rest of ingredients.

5Bring to a boil then simmer at 250 F for 20 minutes.
