1 shredded potato

1/4 onion shredded

3 oz finely chopped cooked brisket

1/3 stick melted butter

salt and pepper to taste

4 oz shredded cheddar

1Preheat the skillet to 350 F.

2Shred one potato into a bowl of water.

3Squeeze out the water and discard.

4In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients except for the cheese.

5Place approximately ¼ of the mixture into the skillet. They should be about 3-4 inches in circumference.

6After 3-4 minutes or when the bottom gets golden brown, flip the hash.

7After 2 minutes, add the cheese to the hash and let the cheese melt for another minute or so.

This is a great recipe for leftover meats such as beef, chicken and pork. This goes well with eggs or as a side dish.
